In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation and recognition, Dinalupihan Mayor German “Tong” Santos, together with Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) OIC Cristina Banal and Consultant for Social Services Ma’am Ofelia Mendoza, personally visited and honored four beloved senior citizens who have reached the remarkable age of 90 years old.

The visit, which took place on Thursday February 22, 2024, was marked by the presentation of a ₱20,000 cash incentive to each of the honorees. The recipients of this special recognition were Lola Emilita Esmeria of Barangay Naparing, Lolo Graciano Guevarra of New San Jose, Lola Agatona Manalansan of New San Jose, and Lola Justina Reyes of Roosevelt.

The officials, along with the Mobile Health Physician, Dr. Roddame Angelo Erispe, and MHO nurses, also took the opportunity to personally assess the health of the honorees. Mayor Santos expressed his gratitude to the senior citizens for their invaluable contributions to the community and emphasized the importance of cherishing and caring for the elderly. He encouraged the recipients to stay healthy and vibrant, serving as inspirations to the younger generations.
